MOUNTAIN ACTIVITIES
Mountain Activities Ltd is owned and run by
Keith Fleming. Operating for over 13 years, we specialise
in tailoring courses to suit the needs of the client, rather
than running an extensive fixed programme.
Keith Fleming holds the following qualifications:
Mountain Instructors Certificate, European Mountain Leader
Award, Level 3 Kayak Coach and a variety of other outdoor
qualifications. He also has a degree in Environmental Studies
and Outdoor Education from Bangor University.
He has also been a provider of MLTE courses since 1993.
Mountain Activities is licensed by the Adventure
Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) to provide the following
activities to children (licence no. R1207): Hill walking and
mountaineering, rock climbing, abseiling, canoeing, kayaking,
sea level traversing, off-road biking, gorge scrambling, and
improvised rafting. Please contact AALA on 029 2075 5715 to

In addition to providing training courses, Keith
also acts as technical advisor to a number of organisations,
for AALA licensing purposes and for a range of other purposes,
such as site-specific instructor courses.

Brighton and Hove Unitary Authority (as part of the Outdoor
Education Advisory panel), West and East Sussex County Councils,
The Guide Association, Adventure Unlimited, Sayers Croft Field
Studies Centre, The Kingswood Group, Junior Choice Adventure,
High Sports Climbing Wall, Arethusa Venture Centre, Hillingdon
& Croydon D of E, Renowned Holidays, etc.
Mountain Activities Ltd holds public liability
insurance of £5 million.
